“One of the few remaining Transitional Great Camps in the Adirondack Park of upstate New York. This place holds a rich history, from past presidents, artists and socialites intermingling with all forms of nature and wildlife. Camp Arden offers one of the finest hybrids of rustic life combined with modern conveniences situated on this truly one of a kind property.”

THE EAST LAKE COTTAGE
As was the case with most of the buildings on the property, this charming cottage started out as a tent on a wooden platform. Over the years the tent gave way to a more permanent structure and today the cottage provides a warm secluded retreat for guests and friends. Decorated in an English country garden motif, the cottage is furnished with period Eastlake furnishings of the Arts and Crafts era and is intermingled with classic rustic furniture. A newly completely fully furnished kitchen and dining area overlooks one of the many ponds on the property.
